WINDJAMMER BRASS
The Windjammer Brass Ensembles:

QUINTET: consists of two trumpets, French horn, trombone and tuba, and plays a wide range of music from the 16th century to the present day. The styles of music include madrigals, dances, airs and solemn processional music from earlier periods, through full-blown pieces from the Romantic period to fanfares, marches, classical works, light music and jazz pieces of the 20th century.
QUARTET: consists of trumpet, horn, and two trombones, and has a repertoire of short pieces from all periods – a virtual history of Western music. Our sound and style is equally effective indoors and outdoors.
TRIO: consists of trumpet, French horn and trombone and plays a similarly wide range of music. It is probably more suited to playing indoors, and provides a refreshingly different sound and appearance that is attractive to listeners.
Our presentations are entertaining and informative in concert settings, and we can also be discreet and unobtrusive when called on to supply background music for social functions.
We can provide music for many different occasions, including university, college and school graduation and presentation nights, citizenship ceremonies, national day celebrations, concerts for music-lovers, background music at cocktail parties, entertainment spots at fund-raising events for clubs and other organisations, and all sorts of outdoor occasions - wine festivals, carnivals, seaside bandstands, sports events, community festivals, gallery openings and so on.
Don would be pleased to discuss your requirements and to help in any way to make your occasion the greatest possible success.
